The pilgrimage “to the Altar of Bartolo Longo” aims to offer the faithful:
- The opportunity to get to know Bartolo Longo and to deepen their understanding of his journey of faith;
- The opportunity to visit the places and testimonies in Latiano, his hometown, that speak of Bartolo Longo’s social and spiritual work;
- The grace to experience Marian prayer (Supplication, Holy Rosary, renewal of baptismal promises), culminating in the celebration of Holy Mass at the Mother Church “S. Maria della Neve,” the place where Bartolo Longo was baptized;

The pilgrimage is especially intended for:
- any informal group of the faithful;
- Marian confraternities;
- The Pious Unions of the Most Holy Rosary;
- To the Delegations of the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem;
